Konnektive is a real, long-running CRM and payment hub, and it carries serious volume: its homepage cites more than 200 million transactions, 60,000 merchants and over $7 billion processed a year. It is the pick if you run high-volume direct-response or subscription offers on your own landing pages and need many merchant accounts, rebills and call-center tooling in one back office. You will regret it if you want a published price, a modern interface or a cheap first month, because the account is quoted on a call and paid up front, and that money stays with Konnektive if you cancel.
It is at its best for high-volume direct-response and subscription sellers who build their own landing pages and want one back office for many merchant accounts. That is the lens the rest of this review uses: not whether it is the biggest tool on the market, but whether it is the right one for that operator.
Is Konnektive legit?
You heard the name from a media buyer or an affiliate manager, you went to the site, and it gave you a call booking form where a price should be. That is enough to make anyone wonder.
The company is real. Konnektive has sold its CRM since 2010, and its billing engine is licensed by another platform, Checkout Champ. The useful question is whether it fits your operation, and that turns on three things the homepage mentions only in passing: you build the pages, you pay before the account goes live, and the bill grows with your order count. See how the Konnektive contract is priced before you book the call.
How it works: your pages, its back office
Konnektive is a CRM, an order management system and a payment router in one account. You set up a campaign, attach products and gateways, and the CRM generates form code for your landing pages. The vendor says a developer can install it in minutes, and the form captures partial leads as the buyer types.
From there every order, rebill, upsell, affiliate sale, refund and support ticket lands in the same record. The call-center screens, fulfillment exports and reports all read from it, so there is no second system to reconcile.
Hosted carts such as SamCart or ThriveCart hand you the checkout page itself. Konnektive offers no drag-and-drop builder, so you need a page tool or a developer as well. If you already run your own landers in code or WordPress, that costs you nothing extra.
Payments: many processors under one login
Konnektive's homepage lists support for more than 250 payment processors and over 100 currencies, with programmable MID selection, load balancing and unlimited merchant accounts. For a subscription offer that has to spread volume across several merchant accounts, this is the reason to shortlist it.
The help center walks through gateway setup for NMI and Stripe among many others. If you are still choosing the gateway that sits under the CRM, our NMI vs Authorize.net comparison covers that decision.
Integrations, API and documentation
Konnektive lists more than 500 software integrations, and connectors are switched on from the Plugins menu under Admin. For anything custom there is a public REST API documented at apidocs.konnektive.com. Each call authenticates with the loginId and password of an API user you create inside the account, and the docs require HTTPS because the calls carry customer data. Endpoint groups cover orders, customers, transactions, products, campaigns, gateways, landing pages, membership clubs, affiliates and reports.
The working manual is the help center at help.konnektive.com, with sections on campaigns, form-code landers, gateways, affiliates, the call center, fulfillment and API setup. Coming from Sticky.io? Konnektive documents an official plugin that imports your old Sticky.io records through Sticky.io's API, with the setup steps written out in the help center.
Who should pass on it
A seller with one product and one Stripe account who wants a checkout live this week is better off on a hosted cart, which takes less setup and comes with no prepaid contract. Operators who are already on Konnektive and tired of the fees and the screens usually look at two moves: Sticky.io, compared head to head, or Checkout Champ, which licenses Konnektive's billing engine and adds funnel pages on top. The full list of exits is on our Konnektive alternatives page.
