What each SamCart plan buys
SamCart sells two self-serve plans, Core and Pro, each with a 7-day trial and a quarter off when you pay yearly. A third tier, Done For You, is custom-priced and booked through a call.
| Plan | Monthly | Seats | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $79 | 1 | Checkouts, pages, courses, cart abandonment |
| Pro | $199 | 10 | Bumps, upsells, A/B tests, Subscription Saver, affiliates |
| Done For You | Custom | Unlimited | Managed build, account manager, priority support |
Which plan a funnel with upsells needs
Core includes unlimited pages, products and checkouts, the courses app, cart abandonment and limited use of the AI assistant. It sells the front-end product well. Everything that adds money after the buyer clicks Pay (order bumps, one-click upsells, split tests, failed-payment recovery on rebills and an affiliate program) is on Pro. If any of those carry your offer, Pro is your plan, and the trial is the time to confirm it.
Fees on top of the plan
On SamPay, SamCart's own payment processor, a sale costs the card rate of 2.9% plus 30 cents with no platform fee added. Letting SamCart collect sales tax costs 50 basis points on Core and 35 on Pro. Connecting a third-party processor through the API is a Pro feature. Live support with a dedicated contact is a paid add-on.
Before you cancel
Cancelling inside the app ends SamCart's own payment plans at once. Subscriptions you run through Stripe keep charging customers until they are cancelled in Stripe. Accounts on a legacy plan (Launch, Grow, Scale or Core Legacy) lose that pricing for good when they cancel.

Is it worth it?
What works
- Users call the checkout dependable. Sellers on Reddit describe it as no-frills but reliable, which is the trait that counts once paid traffic lands on the order page.
- Core covers a full launch: unlimited pages, products and checkouts, a courses app, cart abandonment, an integration engine and an AI assistant that drafts pages and products.
- SamPay charges the card rate of 2.9% plus 30 cents a sale, and SamCart adds no platform fee on top of it.
- Pro gathers the revenue tools in one plan: order bumps, one-click upsells, A/B testing, Subscription Saver for failed rebills, an Affiliate Center, advanced analytics and API access with third-party processors.
- Checkout Anywhere puts the checkout on your own site or a link-in-bio page, so pages built in another tool can stay where they are.
What to watch
- Bumps, one-click upsells and split tests are Pro features. A paid-traffic funnel that relies on them should treat Pro as the real starting price, and Core fits a single-product checkout.
- Price is the most common complaint. One low-ticket ebook seller called the cost quite high, and another called the prorated billing for order upgrades crazy expensive. Paying yearly takes 25% off either plan.
- Email marketing is left out, so you pay for a separate email tool as well. Most sellers moving from another cart already have one.
- Seven days is short for connecting a processor, an email tool and a course and then watching real orders arrive. Plan your integrations before the trial starts.
- Closing the account leaves Stripe-managed subscriptions billing until they are cancelled in Stripe, and a cancelled legacy plan cannot be brought back at its old price.
