BeMob vs ClickMagick
By Marcus Flynn, tracking and attribution editor. Updated 27 September 2026.
You are down to two cloud trackers, and on the surface they look like the same purchase: log in, drop a script, watch conversions land. They are not. BeMob sits in the middle of your traffic, routing clicks and rotating offers and landers across native, pop, push and display, and it starts free. ClickMagick sits on the pages you own, capturing conversions first-party and posting them back to the ad platforms so their optimization gets a clean signal. The pick turns on two questions: do you route offers you do not own, and do you lean on the ad platforms' conversion feedback?
Pick BeMob if you route paid traffic through many offers and landing pages on native, pop, push or display and want a free or cheap cloud start with nothing to host; pick ClickMagick if you buy paid traffic to a funnel or offer you own and want first-party conversions fed back to Meta, Google and TikTok.
Quick answer
ClickMagick is our top pick for most people. The pick for the operator who owns the funnel. ClickMagick captures conversions first-party on your own domain and feeds them back to Meta, Google and TikTok, so the ad platforms optimize on outcomes a browser pixel would miss. It has tracked traffic since 2014, its support is the thing buyers praise most, the price is flat rather than a share of revenue, and there is nothing to host. It does not route or rotate offers, so an affiliate running many network offers through a redirect is better served elsewhere.
- BeMob. Best for Beginners and budget media buyers who want cloud tracking with a free plan. Has a free tier.
- ClickMagick. Best for Solo advertisers buying paid traffic to funnels or offers they own. From $79/mo.

BeMob: pros and cons
What works
- Cheapest credible cloud entry. A free plan tracks 100,000 events a month, and the first paid tier is $49 a month for a million events, well under most cloud trackers. You can prove it out before spending a cent.
- Built for the affiliate and media-buying workflow. It routes clicks, rotates offers and landing pages through flows, splits traffic by rule, and works native, pop, push, display, search, email, social and video, with server-to-server postbacks into affiliate networks.
- Cloud and managed, so there is no server to run. Auto-scaling infrastructure and fast redirects absorb traffic spikes, which spares you the VPS monitoring, updates and SSL that self-hosted Keitaro or Binom demand.
- Fraud filtering is built in. It flags data-center and blacklisted IPs, fast clicks and frequent events, so you can strip obvious bot traffic before it skews a campaign.
What to watch
- Pricing is event-based, and an event is every impression, visit, click and conversion. High-volume pop or push campaigns burn through the caps fast and trip overage fees, $0.05 per 1,000 events on Professional. That bites hardest on high-impression traffic; a low-volume tester can sit on the free plan for a long time.
- Data retention is short on the cheaper plans, one month on Free and Professional, three on Business. Look back over a quarter or more and you are pushed to an upper tier. Day-to-day optimization inside a month is unaffected.
- Your own tracking and cloaking domains only start on the Business plan at $249 a month; Free and Professional show zero. A serious buyer who wants a custom tracking domain jumps straight to Business, which narrows the budget appeal.
- It does not feed conversions back to Meta, Google and TikTok through their conversion APIs the way a first-party tracker does. It offers cookieless no-redirect tracking for those platforms, but its focus is click tracking and routing, not optimizing the ad platform's algorithm. That matters most if platform conversion feedback is central to your buying; for affiliate network offers it is rarely the point.
- Independent proof is thin. Trustpilot carries 13 reviews at 4.5 out of 5 with none in the last year, and discussion is far quieter than Voluum, RedTrack or Keitaro. Weigh it on your own free-plan trial rather than on review count.
ClickMagick: pros and cons
What works
- Accurate first-party tracking that survives iOS and ad blockers. Conversions are captured on your own domain and posted back to Meta, Google, TikTok and more through Audience Optimization, so the ad platform's optimization gets a cleaner signal. Buyers keep it to see where conversions really come from when GA4 and the pixel disagree.
- Flat monthly pricing that is not a share of your revenue, with no mandatory sales call. Buyers who left Hyros describe it as the same job done cheaper, and moving up to Standard or Pro buys capacity rather than unlocking the core feature set.
- Support is the single most repeated piece of praise. Trustpilot sits at 4.1 out of 5 across 679 reviews, about 90% five-star, and users report fast replies that often include a screen-recording walking through the exact fix.
- Built for the paid-traffic shape a solo operator actually runs: sub-IDs and server-to-server postbacks into 100-plus affiliate networks, a custom first-party tracking domain, bot and click-fraud filtering, cross-device tracking, automatic ad-cost sync, and a daily insights email that flags what to scale, pause or fix.
What to watch
- It is not a route-through campaign tracker. You point traffic at your own pages and it attributes the result. It does not rotate offers, split traffic across landers by rule, or distribute clicks the way BeMob, Voluum or Binom do. That matters most to affiliate media buyers running many offers through a redirect; a solo advertiser sending traffic to one funnel does not need routing.
- The marketing promises more than the setup delivers on its own. ClickMagick is a tracking layer, not a magic fix, and accuracy still depends on passing click IDs cleanly and configuring postbacks correctly. Skip that work and the numbers will not agree with your backend.
- It is not a cheap link tracker. The $79 entry is steep if all you need is to cloak and count links, and quotas are counted in tracked visitors, so a high-traffic, low-converting funnel can be pushed onto the next plan. Watch your visitor count before you scale traffic.
- Independent third-party proof is thinner than the wall of on-site testimonials suggests. There is no meaningful G2 or Capterra presence, and ClickMagick says it no longer actively maintains its Trustpilot profile and disputes some recent negative reviews. Weigh it against your own trial, not the testimonial count.
The real differences
What each one actually is
BeMob is a cloud campaign tracker built for media buyers and affiliates. You route your ad links through it, and it stamps every click, rotates offers and landing pages through flows, splits traffic by rule, and reads conversions back from affiliate networks through server-to-server postbacks. It covers the traffic an affiliate actually buys: native, pop, push, display, search, email, social and video. Because it runs on BeMob's own auto-scaling servers, there is no box for you to patch or keep online, and it starts on a free plan.
ClickMagick is a first-party ad tracker built for the solo advertiser and small team who buy paid traffic to offers they own. You add a small script to your pages and point your links through it. From there it stamps the click, follows the visitor across devices, records the conversion on a first-party domain you control, and posts that sale back to Meta, Google and TikTok so their optimization learns from it. It does not sit in the middle rotating offers; it attributes the traffic you send to your own funnel.
The split that decides it: routing offers or owning the funnel
This is the line between them, and it is not a feature you can bolt on later. BeMob is a route-through tracker. Clicks pass through it, and it distributes them across offers and landers, rotates creatives and splits traffic for testing. That is exactly what an affiliate promoting many network offers needs, and ClickMagick does not do it. ClickMagick can track affiliate offers through sub-IDs and postbacks, but it is built to measure the traffic you send to pages you own, not to sit in the middle of a rotation.
So ask what you are actually running. If you push traffic to a stable of offers you do not own and live in the rotation, BeMob fits the job and starts cheaper. If you own the funnel and the sale happens on your pages, the routing is dead weight, and ClickMagick's first-party capture and clean platform feedback are the parts that earn their keep.
Redirects, first-party tracking and your ad accounts
Where the two capture data has consequences on strict ad platforms. BeMob's classic mode routes a click through a redirect, and Google, Microsoft and Meta are wary of opaque redirects to an offer; buyers have had ad accounts flagged over exactly that. BeMob also offers a cookieless no-redirect mode for Facebook, Google and Bing, which softens the risk, but it is not the same as feeding conversions into each platform's conversion API.
ClickMagick's whole design leans the other way. Traffic lands on your own pages, the pixel is first-party, and conversions post back to the platforms server-side. For an operator buying paid social to a funnel they own, that is the safer and more useful setup, because the platform gets a clean conversion signal and there is no redirect for a reviewer to object to. For an affiliate routing native or pop offers, the platform-feedback advantage matters less, and BeMob's routing matters more.
Who each one is for
Pick BeMob if you are a media buyer or affiliate routing paid clicks to offers you do not own, you value a free start and a low monthly floor, and you would rather not run a server. Watch the event meter as you scale, because impressions count against it, and expect to move to the Business plan once you want your own tracking domain and longer data retention.
Pick ClickMagick if you own the funnel, buy paid traffic to it, and want first-party attribution with clean conversions fed back to Meta, Google and TikTok, backed by the support buyers rate most highly. It costs more at the entry and it will not rotate offers, but for the offer owner that is the right shape and the routing was never the point.
What each one costs
BeMob is event-based and starts free. The free plan covers 100,000 events a month with one month of data retention; Professional is $49 a month for a million events, Business $249 a month for ten million with three months of retention, and Enterprise $499 a month for thirty million with six months. An event is every impression, visit, click and conversion, so a high-impression pop or push campaign spends the allowance quickly, and overage runs from $0.05 per 1,000 events on Professional down to $0.02 on Enterprise. Custom tracking and cloaking domains only appear on Business and above.
ClickMagick is metered on tracked visitors rather than events, and there is no free plan, only a 14-day trial with no card. Starter is $79 a month for 10,000 tracked visitors, Standard $199 for 100,000 and Pro $349 for 1,000,000; pay yearly and those fall to $66, $166 and $291. The quota counts visitors, not conversions, so a high-traffic, low-converting funnel can push you onto the next tier.
