Quick answer

**ElasticFunnels** is our top pick for most people. ElasticFunnels is a funnel platform for teams that buy traffic. It builds the pages, split-tests them under one URL, hosts the checkout with order bumps and multi-MID routing, and keeps the CRM, automations and attribution on the same data layer. It tops this list for a reason a tracker bolted onto a separate stack cannot match: a click, an order, a rebill and a refund are one record, so revenue reports per ad, page and variant without stitching four exports together. It is the pick when you are building the funnel anyway and want the numbers to come from the same place the sale happened.

### Where TrackPlay fits

TrackPlay is a VSL player and analytics platform built for paid-traffic video funnels. It hosts the video behind one embed, holds attention with sound-first autoplay and timed CTAs, and ties every second watched to who actually bought. It earns a place on an attribution list because the cart posts the verified sale back onto the play that earned it, and TrackPlay fires that conversion server-side to Meta, TikTok and GA4\. It is the pick when the sale happens on a video and you want attribution measured on the play, not the page load.

It is at its best for attribution for vsl funnels. That is the lens the rest of this review uses: not whether it is the biggest tool on the market, but whether it is the right one for that operator.

### Pros and cons

##### What works

* Conversions post back server-side to Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API and GA4, fired on the watch-time milestone you choose and deduped across browser and server, so the ad platforms optimize on watch behaviour and the real sale, not a page-load pixel.
* Cart postbacks tie each sale to the play that earned it from seven direct-response carts including ClickBank, ClickFunnels, BuyGoods and Digistore24, server to server with no browser involved.
* Split tests are decided on the cart-verified sale with real statistics, and variants run under one embed so ad links and campaign learning never reset.
* Retention is drawn per second and split into buyers versus non-buyers, with hook rate, hold rate and revenue per play, so you can see the exact seconds to cut or protect.

##### What to watch

* It is narrow by design: built for paid-traffic VSL conversion, not general video hosting or a B2B content library. It has none of the channels, SEO pages or webinar tooling of a Wistia, so if your video's job is content marketing rather than a direct-response sale, a general host fits better. For a VSL that has to convert cold traffic, that narrow focus is why its retention and attribution go as deep as they do.
* It is very new with thin independent validation. The testimonials are on its own site, there is little third-party review footprint yet, and signup is invite-only right now. Verify it on your own traffic during the free plan before you move real budget onto it.
* Billing is on plays rather than seats or features, which is cheap to start but climbs with volume. A high-traffic VSL doing well past 50,000 plays a month should price the overage or the Scale tier before switching.

#### What users actually say about TrackPlay

Research: unverified

##### Built to prove the sale, and the proof is still first party

TrackPlay's pitch and its published testimonials cluster on one idea: deciding split tests on revenue rather than clicks, and firing pixels on watch behaviour so retargeting improves. That is the exact job this site measures tools against. But treat the named quotes as vendor-selected: there is no independent Reddit or review-site record for TrackPlay yet, so a buyer is relying on vendor claims. That is normal for a 2026 launch, and it is the reason to pilot it before moving a proven offer.

> “Your host counts plays. TrackPlay shows the exact second, viewer and edit that turns a play into a sale, then fires your pixels and splits your tests on revenue.”

> “We split-test on sales now, not clicks. The 'loser' by CTR was the winner by revenue.”

Marcus T. [Blog: Vendor-selected testimonial, homepage ](https://trackplay.io)

> “Same video, same traffic, 18% more sales, just from pixels firing on watch time.”

##### Billed by plays, and a play is more than a view

TrackPlay bills on plays, and its own terms are blunt that one viewer can register several: a start, an unmute, a resume and a replay can each count. At paid-traffic volume that changes the cost, so model it and use the cap and the live usage dashboard.

> “A play is counted when playback starts, when a viewer unmutes, when they resume after a pause, and when they restart the video. So one viewer can register more than one play in a session.”

Anonymous [Blog: TrackPlay pricing (vendor) ](https://trackplay.io/pricing)

> “A viewer who autoplays a video muted, unmutes it, pauses and resumes, and then replays it counts as four plays.”

Anonymous [Blog: TrackPlay Terms of Service (vendor) ](https://trackplay.io/terms)

##### No uptime promise in the contract ↓ common complaint

The marketing claims 99.99% uptime, but the Terms of Service decline to promise a specific uptime percentage and provide the service as is. For a high-spend funnel that gap is worth weighing.

> “We work hard to keep the player fast and up, and we do not promise a specific uptime percentage in this document.”
