### How the Sticky.io bill is built

Sticky.io sells one bundle, CRM plus Checkout, and prices it in three layers that each grow with the business: the licence, a share of gross sales and a fee per failed card. [Read the Sticky.io review](/reviews/sticky-io) for what the platform does for the money.

| Monthly gross sales | Revenue share |
| ------------------- | ------------- |
| Up to $500K | 1.0% |
| $500K to $2.5M | 0.75% |
| $2.5M to $10M | 0.5% |
| Above $10M | 0.25% |

#### The licence and a worked example

The entry licence is the figure at the top of this page. Sticky.io's own calculator, set to $1M of monthly gross, estimates $10,080 a month: a $2,500 licence, plus 0.75% of sales, plus estimated decline fees. So the licence climbs as you grow, and the steps between the entry figure and that example are agreed with the sales team. At $300K a month, the first-tier share alone is $3,000.

#### Decline fees and Recovery

Every declined transaction carries a fee of four cents, which Sticky.io says drops to two cents as you scale. The volume at which it drops is agreed with sales. A continuity offer with many rebills generates many declines, so count them in the model. Recovery, the add-on for winning back revenue, is quoted on request and charged only on what it recovers.

#### What sits outside the Sticky.io bill

Your payment processor charges its own rates on top, and there is no free trial to offset setup time. An ad tracker is a separate cost as well. To see how this compares with a contract that has no public rate card, read [Konnektive pricing](/reviews/konnektive/pricing), or [Checkout Champ pricing](/reviews/checkout-champ/pricing) for the other licence-plus-share model.

### Is it worth it?

##### What works

* The rate card is public: a base licence, a share of gross sales that drops at four volume tiers, and a per-decline fee, so you can model the bill before any sales call.
* CRM and checkout come in one bundled price, so the subscription records and the funnel pages that feed them sit in the same account.
* The checkout builder runs A/B and multivariate tests on headlines, styles and field options, with single-page checkout, order bumps and one-click upsells.
* Routing reaches 160+ payment gateways with automatic cascading after a decline, and the help center documents moving all traffic to a backup gateway during an outage.
* Long-term users single out gateway cascading and how easy it is to reprocess declines.
* Full API access and 400+ integrations let a team run the CRM headless behind pages built elsewhere.

##### What to watch

* Users call it expensive compared with other billing software, and the revenue share and decline fees rise with every sale and every failed card.
* Software Advice reviewers report occasional billing glitches and a billing history that is hard to tie to a single product.
* One reviewer found that a linked product kept billing after its parent was cancelled, so cancellation rules need checking on the demo.
* There is no free trial or self-serve signup. Every account starts with a demo and onboarding run by the sales team.
* Outside reviews are few and mostly from 2018 to 2022, which leaves the current product thinly covered by independent users.
* Recovery is an extra, priced on request as a share of the revenue it wins back.

### Frequently asked questions

How much does Sticky.io cost a month?

A licence, plus a percentage of gross that starts at 1% and falls to 0.25% above $10M a month, plus decline fees. Processor fees are extra.

Is there a free trial?

No. You book a demo and the sales team sets up the account.

Does the revenue share apply to all of my sales?

In the vendor's own example the tier rate is applied to the whole monthly gross, which is how the $1M estimate is calculated.
