Quick answer

**Konnektive** is our top pick for most people. Konnektive is a real, long-running CRM and payment hub, and it carries serious volume: its homepage cites more than 200 million transactions, 60,000 merchants and over $7 billion processed a year. It is the pick if you run high-volume direct-response or subscription offers on your own landing pages and need many merchant accounts, rebills and call-center tooling in one back office. You will regret it if you want a published price, a modern interface or a cheap first month, because the account is quoted on a call and paid up front, and that money stays with Konnektive if you cancel.

### Where Konnektive fits

Konnektive is a real, long-running CRM and payment hub, and it carries serious volume: its homepage cites more than 200 million transactions, 60,000 merchants and over $7 billion processed a year. It is the pick if you run high-volume direct-response or subscription offers on your own landing pages and need many merchant accounts, rebills and call-center tooling in one back office. You will regret it if you want a published price, a modern interface or a cheap first month, because the account is quoted on a call and paid up front, and that money stays with Konnektive if you cancel.

It is at its best for high-volume direct-response and subscription sellers who build their own landing pages and want one back office for many merchant accounts. That is the lens the rest of this review uses: not whether it is the biggest tool on the market, but whether it is the right one for that operator.

#### Is Konnektive legit?

You heard the name from a media buyer or an affiliate manager, you went to the site, and it gave you a call booking form where a price should be. That is enough to make anyone wonder.

The company is real. Konnektive has sold its CRM since 2010, and its billing engine is licensed by another platform, Checkout Champ. The useful question is whether it fits your operation, and that turns on three things the homepage mentions only in passing: you build the pages, you pay before the account goes live, and the bill grows with your order count. [See how the Konnektive contract is priced](/reviews/konnektive/pricing) before you book the call.

#### How it works: your pages, its back office

Konnektive is a CRM, an order management system and a payment router in one account. You set up a campaign, attach products and gateways, and the CRM generates form code for your landing pages. The vendor says a developer can install it in minutes, and the form captures partial leads as the buyer types.

From there every order, rebill, upsell, affiliate sale, refund and support ticket lands in the same record. The call-center screens, fulfillment exports and reports all read from it, so there is no second system to reconcile.

Hosted carts such as SamCart or ThriveCart hand you the checkout page itself. Konnektive offers no drag-and-drop builder, so you need a page tool or a developer as well. If you already run your own landers in code or WordPress, that costs you nothing extra.

#### Payments: many processors under one login

Konnektive's homepage lists support for more than 250 payment processors and over 100 currencies, with programmable MID selection, load balancing and unlimited merchant accounts. For a subscription offer that has to spread volume across several merchant accounts, this is the reason to shortlist it.

The help center walks through gateway setup for NMI and Stripe among many others. If you are still choosing the gateway that sits under the CRM, our [NMI vs Authorize.net comparison](/compare/nmi-vs-authorize-net) covers that decision.

#### Integrations, API and documentation

Konnektive lists more than 500 software integrations, and connectors are switched on from the Plugins menu under Admin. For anything custom there is a public REST API documented at [apidocs.konnektive.com](https://apidocs.konnektive.com/). Each call authenticates with the loginId and password of an API user you create inside the account, and the docs require HTTPS because the calls carry customer data. Endpoint groups cover orders, customers, transactions, products, campaigns, gateways, landing pages, membership clubs, affiliates and reports.

The working manual is the help center at [help.konnektive.com](https://help.konnektive.com/), with sections on campaigns, form-code landers, gateways, affiliates, the call center, fulfillment and API setup. Coming from Sticky.io? Konnektive documents an official plugin that imports your old Sticky.io records through Sticky.io's API, with the setup steps written out in the help center.

#### Who should pass on it

A seller with one product and one Stripe account who wants a checkout live this week is better off on a hosted cart, which takes less setup and comes with no prepaid contract. Operators who are already on Konnektive and tired of the fees and the screens usually look at two moves: [Sticky.io, compared head to head](/compare/konnektive-vs-sticky-io), or [Checkout Champ](/reviews/checkout-champ), which licenses Konnektive's billing engine and adds funnel pages on top. The full list of exits is on our [Konnektive alternatives page](/alternatives/konnektive).

### Pros and cons

##### What works

* It has a long track record. Konnektive has sold its CRM since 2010 and bills large continuity books, so whether it can carry your volume is a question its history already answers.
* Merchant accounts are part of the core product. Programmable MID selection, load balancing and unlimited merchant accounts let you spread first sales and rebills over many processors without bolting on a router.
* One back office for the whole order. Subscriptions, upsells, affiliate tracking, call-center work, fulfillment and reporting share one customer record, so your numbers do not depend on connectors between a cart and a separate CRM.
* Support earns real praise. Trustpilot reviewers single out how quickly the support team answers, which counts when a gateway or a rebill run breaks in the middle of a campaign.
* A documented way in from Sticky.io. The official plugin imports your Sticky.io history over the API, which lowers the cost of switching from the platform buyers most often weigh it against.

##### What to watch

* You cannot see a price before a sales call. There is no pricing page, only a booking form. That is common for contract back-office software at this volume, and it means you compare quotes side by side instead of list prices.
* What you pay stays paid. Accounts are prepaid before activation. Subscription and service fees are never refunded or prorated, and cancelling takes an email plus a call with the cancellation team, so get the contract terms in writing before the first charge.
* The interface takes time to learn. G2 reviewers describe a high learning curve with many screens to click through to reach the data. Teams who work in it every day get past it, and G2 holds only a handful of reviews, so weigh that against your own demo.
* You supply the pages. Konnektive sells no visual funnel builder, so budget for a developer or a page tool on top of the licence. An operator who already runs coded landers loses nothing here.
* The bill tracks your volume. Under the EULA, fees are calculated on customers or transactions, whichever is greater, and can rise by up to 5% a year, so a good quarter raises the invoice along with revenue.

The two clearest independent voices pull in opposite directions. A G2 reviewer who works in Konnektive daily complains about how many screens stand between them and the number they want. A Trustpilot reviewer credits the support team's speed as the thing no rival matches. Both can be true of the same account: a dense tool is easier to live with when someone answers fast.

The sample is small. G2 lists only four reviews, and one of them is filed under pricing issues, so read these as individual reports and use the sales demo to test the screens you would use every day.

### What Konnektive costs

Konnektive does not publish a rate card. What can be pinned down comes from its own billing policy and licence agreement, plus one directory figure.

| Item | What the source says | Source |
| ---------------- | ------------------------- | -------------- |
| List price | None published | Homepage |
| Directory figure | From $499 a month | Capterra |
| Fee basis | Customers or transactions | EULA |
| Yearly rise | Up to 5% | EULA |
| Billing | Prepaid, card on file | Billing policy |
| Refunds | None, no proration | Billing policy |
| Trial | None offered | Homepage |

Treat the directory number as a starting point for a budget. Your contract can differ, and the licence meters on whichever count is larger, so ask the rep to price your actual monthly orders and rebills, not a sample account.

If the fee model is why you are reading this, compare it with a vendor that prints its price. [Checkout Champ's published pricing](/reviews/checkout-champ/pricing) runs on the same engine, and [Konnektive vs Sticky.io](/compare/konnektive-vs-sticky-io) sets the two contract styles side by side. The [Konnektive pricing breakdown](/reviews/konnektive/pricing) covers what to ask on the sales call.

### Frequently asked questions

How much does Konnektive cost?

No public price on the website; sales are booked through Schedule A Call. EULA Exhibit A (standard agreement on konnektive.com) lists a monthly license fee plus per-transaction fees; individual quotes may differ. Billing policy: prepaid accounts, card on file, subscription fees non-refundable and not prorated; cancel via admin@konnektive.com plus a call with the cancellation team.

Does Konnektive offer a free trial?

No. Konnektive has no trial and no self-serve signup. The first step is a booked call with its sales team.

Is Konnektive CRM legit?

Yes. It has been in business since 2010 and reports billions of dollars in yearly card volume. Legitimacy is settled, so spend your diligence on contract terms and fit.

How is Konnektive different from Checkout Champ?

Checkout Champ licenses the Konnektive billing engine, adds its own page and funnel builder, and prints its price. Buying Konnektive directly gets you the back office, and the pages are yours to build.

What should a solo seller use instead?

A hosted cart such as SamCart or ThriveCart, where the checkout page, order bumps and upsells come built in on a plan you can read before paying.

How do I connect Konnektive to my other software?

Switch the connector on in the plugin directory under Admin. For a custom job, create an API user and call the REST API over HTTPS with that user's credentials.
